Blue Daisy Jewellery was born while I was doing my PhD in molecular genetics. I needed a hobby to keep me sane and to help me relax after all that science during the day. Soon I started making sewn beadwork which is great fun but very time-consuming and then I moved into simple stringing. After a while I started to be more brave, experimenting with different colors, materials, techniques and tools. The big step from hobby to business came when a friend who was organizing a charity craft fair asked if I would like a table. I panicked and made loads more stock but the fair went really well and people liked my designs. I have never looked back since and thoroughly enjoy experimenting with all aspects of jewellery making. I’ve built up quite a local following and many visitors to the area ask if I have a website when they see me at a craft fair, so here it is. Please have a look round, I hope you enjoy it.
